What started in 2009 as a small TradeMe side hustle is now one of New Zealand's biggest online sunglasses stores. We've grown from just ten designs to hundreds of styles, including our own iPOP branded sunglasses and accessories.

Our Quality Control Process

Sixteen years in this business has taught us that quality control can't be an afterthought, it has to happen at every step. We work with established sunglasses manufacturers and every pair is checked at the factory before it's even packed for shipping to us.

We specify barrel steel hinges on our frames that are strong and durable. Once stock arrives at our Nelson HQ, each pair is checked again before it goes out to you, we look at frame balance and inspect the lenses for imperfections.

Every pair of iPOP sunglasses meets the AS/NZS 1067.1:2016 standard and blocks 100% of UVA and UVB rays (UV400). For Kiwis, that's not a nice-to-have, it's the difference between sunnies that just look dark and sunnies that actually protect your eyes from New Zealand's harsh UV levels, some of the highest in the world.
