As the season picks up, the iPOP team will be out at markets and shows across the Nelson, Tasman, and Marlborough regions. It's one of our favourite parts of the year, getting out from behind the screen and actually talking to people about what they're after.
Markets are genuinely useful for us. Seeing which frames people pick up first, what they try on, what they put back, that's better market research than anything else. It shapes what we stock the following season. If a style isn't working on real faces in real light, we find out pretty quickly.

The Full Range On Show
At every market we bring the full collection, kids' sunnies, everyday frames, sport and fishing styles, and our polarised sunglasses which are consistently our best sellers. Polarised lenses cut the horizontal glare off water, roads, and wet sand in a way a standard tinted lens doesn't, if you spend time outdoors here, they're worth it.
Trying frames on in person makes a real difference. What looks good on a screen doesn't always translate, and the reverse is also true, styles people wouldn't normally click on in an online shop often get a second look once they're actually on someone's face.
Sunpro - Our Premium Range
This season we're also bringing out the Sunpro range. It's a step up from the core iPOP collection, better hinges, inner core wire in the arms for shape retention and a more adjustable fit, and some nice design details like silver temple accents that lift the overall look.
Lenses are predominantly polarised or UV400, and the frames are built to handle daily wear over the long term. The price reflects the construction, it's not a huge jump, but it's there. Customer feedback so far has been good. People who've picked them up can feel the difference.
The Core iPOP Range
The main collection isn't standing still either. We've added new shapes and colour palettes this season, some following current trends, some just filling gaps we noticed in the range. Whether you're after something practical for fishing and driving or just want a solid everyday pair that doesn't cost too much to replace when it inevitably gets sat on, there's plenty to choose from.
